Defining Moment in Education

Frank Vargas, my high school biology teacher, and Bobbie Hinderland, my high school English teacher inspired in me a love of learning. Frank's enthusiasm for his subject and sense of humor drew me to teaching, and Bobbie's love of the written word made teaching English my passion.

Core Educational Belief

If, at the end of a student's four years in high school, he or she is an educated person AND a good citizen, we have done a good job.
