Mrs. Patricia Hebert
Welcome students and parents! This site is designed for students currently in my math classes as well as their parents and guardians. This year I am teaching Precalculus and Intermediate Algebra.
Defining Moment in Education
In my college classes, especially non-math classes, I found myself helping my fellow college students make sense of the mathematics they were facing. I realized that I had been helping my classmates understand math since early in elementary school. How exciting it is to be able to help so many others make sense of their mathematics!
Core Educational Beliefs
Success in mathematics requires both conceptual understanding and skills mastery. Understanding math concepts takes conscious effort. Mastering math skills takes practice. Both are equally important, and both take time.
Before teaching, I worked in the engineering field as an electrical/mechanical drafter.
