• World History - This course will cover the Arizona state standards that will cover topics beginning with the early civilizations and will end second semester at our current time period.  This will be a fast paced class. We will cover a vast number ot topics that will give us a brief overview of world history in one year. We will learn advancements in multiple cultures in areas covering all continents.  There will be brief overviews of the major religions of the world throughout history.

    Information will be taught in multiple ways. Class instruction will be a mixture of direct instruction, group work, individual papers, individual presentations, class debates, different styles of notetaking, multimedia, paired activities and many others.

    Assessments for this class will be from classwork, homework, presentations, projects, quizzes and tests 

     

    US/AZ History - This course will cover the Arizona state standards that will cover topics beginning with the arrival of the earliest humans in the Americas and will end second semester at our current time period.  This will cover topics related to the establishment and development of the United States. This will be a fast paced class. We will cover a vast number ot topics that will give us a brief overview of the United States and Arizona history in one year. We will advance through United States histroy chronologically. We will cover the basics in the foundation of our government as well as major events and time periods throughout United States history. There will be a project covering major topics in Arizona's histroy. This will include an individual research paper and presentation.
