Ms. Lopez

Hello. My name is Ms. Lopez and I have been with Amphi since 2011. I was born in Uruguay, raised in New Jersey, and moved to Arizona to attend the UofA. I graduated from the UofA in 2007 with a Bachelors in Fine Arts with an emphasis on Drawing and Painting and minor in Anthroplogy. Appreciating the Arts has been part of my life since I was a little girl. I consider myself to be lucky to be able to share my passion for The Arts and skills in mutiple medias with Keeling students.

Defining Moment in my Education

Prior to becoming an Art Teacher I taught 2nd and 3rd. During my 3rd year teaching, I remember feeling overwhelmed with emotions when I would see my students illustrating their stories. I found myself wanting to draw with them and for them. I wanted to see all their little doodles and rainbows. I was hooked.

Core Educational Belief

Education starts at home. All formal educational institution, such as Keeling, should provide a well-rounded education that include opportunity to explore The Arts.
