During our school closure:
If you need to talk to someone right away, please use the numbers on my Crisis Resources page. There are numbers for emergencies and a couple that can be used just to chat with a trained peer counselor during evening hours.
Email Ms. Graun: email@example.com.
I will be live/online between 11 AM and 2 PM.
Leave me your name, your email and/or a phone number, indicating whether the number is your phone or someone else's (like mom's)
Tell me if you wish to hear from me by email or phone.
If you want to talk to me on the phone, know that I will be blocking my personal phone number, so the call will come up as 'Unknown Caller'. If you want, we can set up an appointment time, so you know that it is me calling.
I will be checking email between 8 and 4 pm, Mon-Fri. just like at school. I will call you back within 24 hours.
THINK ABOUT THIS
You can come see me.......
*if you have a teacher's permission, and a pass.
*if you come during your lunch time.
*if you come at passing period and the question or concern you have can be taken care of in 5 minutes or less.
If I am not in my office when you come.... *fill out a counselor appointment request paper at the front desk. I will call for you as soon as I am able.
Ms. Graun's words of wisdom:
1. Plan ahead.
2. Ask questions. There are no stupid ones!
3. Ask for help sooner rather than later.
4. Use your time and resources wisely.
5. Do your best in everything.
What are your resources?
Your Planner, provided free to you.
