Hello Parents and Students!

My name is Denise Roepke, the Social Worker for Rio Vista Elementary School. I will be available Monday thru Friday from 8am to 4pm.

Defining Moment in Education

My defining moment in Education was when I completed my internship at Cross Middle School. I felt that I could make a difference in a child's life. I love working with the kids whether in groups or individually.

Core Educational Belief

My Core Educational Belief is that every child should have the opportunity to succeed in their education with positive supports.

Prior Experience

I have experience working in the Amphi district from 1993 - 2004. I started out working as a Campus Monitor/Security and Behavior Intervention Monitor at Cross Middle School. After 8 years at Cross I became the Registrar at La Cima Middel School. All the time I was working for Amphi I was attending Arizona State to become a social worker. During my years at Cross I was given the opportunity to complete my internship at Cross Middle School.
