Future Problem Solving
Future Problem Solving (FPS) is a program that has been opening doors to student imagination since its founding by Dr. E. Paul Torrance in 1974. Students participating in the Future Problem Solving Program discover rich and varied ways of thinking, experience excitement of creativity, and develop unique solutions to difficult challenges. More information can be found at http://www.fpspi.org/.
Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students may participate in Future Problem Solving. Students meet on Mondays after school in room 102. There they are presented with a problem and work together to come up with solutions - all to prepare for an Affiliate Bowl in Phoenix.
