Hobbies and Interests:

For over 30 years I've been traveling the world working for various organizations like the Peace Corps and Cornell University.  I bring my outside work into the classroom giving my students "the bigger picture". My travels have taken me to Mexico, Central and South America, West Africa and Europe. My current work/interest is with wildlife preservation around our planet.  Most of my work takes me to the Spanish speaking world where I will lead or participate in field expeditions. I am a writer and photographer who has had his work published in local and national magazines. Spanish is the core of what I do.  I believe that a second language (or more!) is an important tool for what we do in this life.
