Afterschool Academic Assistance / Overview

After-School Academic Assistance

January 30, 2023 to May 16, 2023

Academic Assistance is available in core content subjects Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, in the IRHS library.

Academic Assistance will be available from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please refer to the afterschool program schedule below for specific attendance dates.

While attending the after-school program, students will be required to engage in academic learning and behave with the same expectations one would find in a classroom setting.

NOTE: Students accessing the academic assistance program must sign in with each teacher they work with, at the beginning of the tutoring sessions. If a teacher has no students signed up to receive tutoring assistance, the teacher will leave at 5:00 PM.

Students are responsible for their own transportation home. There is an activity bus available, at two different times, for students to ride home. The first bus will depart at 6:15 p.m. from the front loop of the main entrance of the school and students should be in the location ready to load the bus at 6:10 p.m. The second departure time is 7:00 p.m. in the Student/West Side Parking Lot and students should be in the parking lot ready to load the bus at 6:45 p.m. The bus driver will drop students off at the bus stop nearest to their home address. If you have questions regarding the drop off locations please contact the IRHS main office, 696-3902 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. for assistance.
