What can you do when your student is struggling in a class or in multiple classes? There are several ways that students can get academic assistance at Ironwood Ridge:
- Students can work directly with their teacher to get help in the class that they are struggling in, especially during Advisory and teachers' morning office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Students and parents can contact the teacher and request a meeting to come up with a plan to help the student to be more successful. The Problem-Solving Process starts with this step.
- National Honor Society tutoring: After-school tutoring, located at the tables along the Academic breezeway, occurs every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:05 to 6:05, and on Wednesdays from 2:10 to 4:10. For questions, please email Mr. Neal Fulks at nfulks@amphi.com.
