What can you do when your student is struggling in a class or in multiple classes? There are several ways that students can get academic assistance at Ironwood Ridge:
- Students can attend conference periods and work directly with their teacher to get help in the class that they are struggling in.
- Students and parents can contact the teacher and request a meeting to come up with a plan to help the student to be more successful.
- Students can attend Ironwood Ridge's after school Academic Assistance program. Teachers stay after school to work with students directly in a variety of subject areas. This free service is available to all students and once it starts, it runs Tuesday through Thursday. Please watch the announcements for information about when it will start.
