In 2015, the Arizona legislature passed the American Civics Act (House Bill 2064). This bill requires students to pass a civics test based on the United States Immigration and Naturalization civics questions.
Students will be required to score 60% or higher in order to graduate from high school.
Students can test throughout the year. Once the test is passed, there is no need to take it again. Below are the nine Saturday school dates that students will be able to take the Civics Test. In order to do so, they must sign-up for a session with Mr. Boknevitz.
January 26, February 2, February 9, February 16, March 2, March 9, April 13, April 20, and April 27
