Mr. Bennett, John

Hello, my name is John Bennett. I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2015 with a BFA, and recieved a degree in Special Educaiton from Pima Community College. I was born and raised here in Tucson. I teach English Language Arts (ELA; Reading and Writing) to a variety of grade levels. I believe that everyone has the potential to be great at something in life. Knowledge truly is power.

Why I'm Commited to Amphi:

Amphi has given me an opportunity to both grow and foster growth. The support I have recieved from Amphi has been awesome! My commitment to them is a result of their commitment to me.

Defining Moment:

When a student says "I want to be in your class," it makes me feel like I'm on the right path in life. Creating an environment where learning is fun and rewarding is my goal as a teacher.

Why I teach at AMS:

Community and comradery are why I teach here. We all work together to develop these young minds. It really does take a village to raise a child, and I think that AMS and the community it's a part of has achieved this goal.

Hobbies/Interests:

Painting/Art, Running/Hiking, Skateboarding, Videogames, Soccer, Guitar, Comics
