About Me:

Teaching is sincerely my favorite mode of communication. This year I begin my 11th year of teaching, and it is honestly a blessing. I love embarking on adventures with students where learning can be taken to unimaginable heights! Yearly I make sure to continue my personal education, so that I can bring new tools and resources into the classroom. Learning should never end!

Defining Moment in Education:

When I was little my mom couldn't really help me with my homework because she didn't really speak English at the time. I remember always feeling nervous if I didn't understand, so I spent some time in first grade crying. Luckily, I had an amazing teacher named Mrs. Seward, who saw through my nervousness. Her example of perseverance will always stay with me. I will always try to find out the root of the problem with a student in order to help him or her shine!

Core Educational Belief:

I know for a fact that every child can learn. It's my role as an educator to find out how each child learns, his or her strenghths, fears, challenges, and learning goals. Once I know these factors I can help each child go to levels that they hadn't imagined, and to try things that they never thought they could do.
