Mrs. Kayla Kipley

Welcome to my English classroom webpage! I was raised in Tucson and attended the University of Arizona. Upon graduation, I was an educational interpreter for Deaf and/or Hard of Hearing students. After a few years of spending time in multiple classrooms I decided to pursue my love for teaching.  I am thrilled to start my fourth year as a Resource English teacher at Amphitheater High School for 9th/10th graders and integrated learners.

Defining Moment in my Education

The most inspiring moment during my education was attending The University of Arizona. I feel blessed to have met professors that helped me discover my strengths and weaknesses. I was able to grow professionally and personally. My journey eventually lead me to want to become an educator.

Core Educational Beliefs

Today's students learn at different rates and in different styles. I am a strong believer in collaborative learning by the teacher and the student(s).

Patience and understanding

Student-centered Learning

Visual learning as it applies to ones current or past experience(s)

As an educator, it is my job to adapt to every individual's learning style.

Why I am Committed to Amphi

I have had the pleasure of working on campus for the past six years in a variety of roles including coaching cheerleading. I have found that the vast amount of diversity on campus makes the school rich with culture. I feel this is why I have such a strong connection to the school and the students.
