Education

I graduated from high school in Maryland and went to the University of Arizona for college. I graduated from Secondary Math Education Program at the U of A in May of 2018.

Prior Experience

I completed my student teaching experience at Amphitheater High School. While at Amphi High, I taught Algebra and Geometry with the help of my mentor teacher. I have also taught 8th grade here at Amphi Middle School for over 5 years.

Why I am Committed to Amphi

During my time at the U of A, I was able to visit a few different school districts in Tucson. From my visits it was very evident that Amphitheater Public Schools deeply valued their students and teachers. This school district is special and truly treats its members like family, which I why I wanted to work here!

Defining Moment in my Education

At the U of A, I took a class on how to tutor students. It was during this class that I realized I greatly loved teaching others and wanted to make an impact on students’ lives as a teacher!

Why I Teach at AMS

I teach at AMS because the students here come from all walks of life and I see it as a great privilege to teach such a diverse group of students.

Hobbies and Interests

Some of the things I enjoy doing include reading suspenseful books, watching horror movies, and playing my PS5!
