DURING EXTENDED SCHOOL CLOSURE
I will be communicating with students and parents via email, as needed; however, this is always the place to go first. Students need to access lesson materials by clicking first on the School Closure Weekly Plans link and then on the appropriate link for your course: US History online during closure OR APUSH on line during closure. An email with specific information was sent to students on Monday. If you have not received this email, please contact me ASAP at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each week we are out due to the closure, you will find the weekly lesson (ex: March 30-April 3). Due to our distinct situation with technology access, this lesson will extend throughout the week to ensure students have adequate time to access the material and respond.
I will be maintaining normal work day hours starting on Monday March 30th and will be available to assist you with any questions you have.
I was born and raised in northeast Wyoming on a working cattle ranch. An interesting piece of history about the ranch was the Custer Expedition crossed through it on their way to the Little Big Horn! I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelors degree in Secondary Education and a MAT in Southwest Studies from Colorado College. I have 18 years of classroom teaching experience and 7 years experience in administration in Colorado. This year I am teaching US/Arizona History and AP U.S. History. My husband, son and I moved to Tucson in June of 2018. My son will be attending Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, California, playing baseball. My husband is a retired middle school art teacher/coach.
