I am thrilled to be your child's 5th grade teacher! This will be my third year at Harelson and I could not be more honored to be part of such a kind, caring, and supportive community. I have a strong passion for forming young minds and you can fully trust that I will embrace your child as if they were my own. I am looking forward to meeting you all. About Me

Despite moving around a lot as a child, I consider myself to be a Tucson native and attended four different schools within the Amphi district. As a kid, I was highly involved in gymnastics and competed for years. Later in life, I turned that love for the sport into my job and coached at various gyms in Tucson for about seven years. It is through coaching where I discovered that teaching was what I was meant to do! I attended the University of Arizona where I completed my bachelors, then went back to school to earn my teaching certificate after realizing my true calling.

I firmly believe that all students can succeed when given the proper tools and opportunities. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to education. By realizing how students best learn and where their strengths lie, we can promote an environment where learning is FUN and we see maximum growth.
