Mr. Porter has been working with young people for over thirty years.  He has coached elementry, middle school, high school and college athletes.  Afer he completed his military service he decided he would like to pursue a teaching career.  He completed his graduate degree in Elementary Education, became certified in Special Education, Secondary Education, History, U.S. Goverment, C.T.E., and Physical Education.  He enjoys working with Special Education students the most and is happy to be back at CDO, the school he graduated from.  Mr. Porter has 14 years of Special Education teaching experience.
