Hello! My name is Elizabeth (Beth) Piazza. I teach Algebra 1 and Honors Algebra 2 at Canyon Del Oro High School. I graduated from the University of California at Davis with a Bachelors of Arts degree in economics and received my teaching certificate in mathematics through the Post-Bachelor Education Program at Pima Community College. Before joining Canyon Del Oro, I taught 6th grade all subjects, 7th grade pre-algebra, algebra, and chemistry. My favorite part of teaching is getting to know the students and tailoring my lessons to meet their learning needs. Math is my passion and my goal is to help students enjoy math a little more by increasing their confidence and understanding in class. I look forward to a great year at Canyon Del Oro.
