Core Educational Beliefs:
Physical education provides multiple opportunities to develop and improve individual self worth. Through the acquisition of new skills taught in class a student’s self worth increases. As skill levels increase and continue to grow a student feels a greater sense of accomplishment and achievement. Positive modeling, encouragement and direction from the teacher can promote self value in the student and provide a positive adult role model for them to follow. Positive interaction with the instructor encourages a more positive self image with the student.
