Ms. Eileen Rubelmann

I love teaching art! I love the combination of visual arts with music, film, theatre, and dance to create exciting and vibrant works. I've dedicated my life to this expanded study that gives artists a rich tool kit to express themselves. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to open and curate the Morrissey Gallery at St. Ambrose University.  At the same time I had the privileged of teaching at Blackhawk College (both traditonal and  dual enrollment high school classes and St. Ambrose University.

As an artist, I  created 5 installation works for the Figge Museum of Art in Davenport, IA and am the founder of the creativity lab “Spine-taneous”, a community project of independent artist and community professionals, joining together to celebrate the process of getting ideas. This experimental lab takes vital industries that  have common aspects to their work and brings them together to create new artwork and music that express the conceptual ideas that they find through collaboration.

In my spare time I like to run. I live here in Oro Valley with my retired husband. Together we enjoy hiking the beautiful areas around Tucson.
