Adriana Loera
Hello and welcome to our class! I am the 4th and 5th grade Resource Special Education teacher at Keeling! This is my second year at Keeling and I am very excited to be here!
Defining Moment in Education
I was working as an aide in a kindergarten classroom, after many years of working at different jobs, when I realized the classroom is where I belong. I enrolled in a certificate program to become an early educator teacher. While completing my program, I interned in a special education classroom, and loved it! I knew at that moment I was meant to teach special education. I completed my early childhood certificate and continued on to get my Master's in Special Education.
Core Educational Belief
As a teacher, my core belief is that all students can learn. It is our job as the teacher to figure out how they learn, to give them a reason to learn, and most importantly to work at showing them the joy of learning!
Prior Experience
I taught Kindergarten for 3 years. Then I moved to the resource setting for 4th and 5th graders. This is my third year teaching Special Education.
