Welcome students and parents!  It is an honor to be the Assistant Principal here at Amphi Middle School, a school that has a distinguished tradition of providing students with an excellent education.  I am excited to be part of the school, but part of the community as well. The admin, teachers, parents, and students are truly committed to serving the Amphi community. I am excited for what this school year has for us. 

Quick Bio

I am a native of Southern Arizona and a Canyon Del Oro High School alumni. I was a member of the CDO baseball team. After my high school career, I joined Lourdes University on a baseball scholarship. After an arm injury ended my career, I decided to move back home to finish my degree, and begin my teaching and coaching career. 

On my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy traveling, watching or going to sporting events, and exploring new restaurants. 

Defining Moment in Education

My teachers and coaches in school always said that I would make an excellent teacher. In college, after exploring a couple of career paths, my first education course in college was my "aha" moment, which I knew this was for me. I also have several people in my life (previous teachers and coaches) who have had an impact on my life and inspired me to be in education. It is a never-ending list of the doors they have opened for me, and the moments they have motivated me to bring out my fullest potential in any aspect. I hope to bring the same to the next generation of students.

I believe that all students can be successful academically and socially, given the opportunity. Every student deserves an effective learning environment that allows them the right to an education and for them to reach their full potential.
