Ms. Jennifer Keller
Hello Pirates! I am Ms. Keller and I'm so excited to be apart of the Amphi Middle School family. I just moved to Tucson by way of Asheville, North Carolina, though I did live in Tucson for one year while I was obtaining my Master's degree. I am passionate about helping all of my students succeed both in and out of the classroom and I consider myself not only their teacher, but also their cheerleader. I strive to create an inclusive classroom that celebrates the diversity of all and to help students find their love of literature. Below you will find your Google Classroom Codes. The links to our Zoom meetings will be found under announcements in our Google Classroom.
This is my seventh year working in education. I have had a variety of roles over the years...
Taught Kindergarten for two years in Seoul, South Korea
Taught Preschool for two years in Yuma, Arizona
Student taught 8th grade ELA in Tucson, Arizona
Taught Preschool for one year in Asheville, North Carolina
And now I'm happy to be here at Amphi Middle teaching 7th grade!
Why I am commited to Amphi
I am commited to Amphi because of the collaborative teamwork that happens among all members of the AMS family.
Defining Moment in my Education
I had the most wonderful 6th grade teacher who encouraged all of us in her class to be explorers when it came to our education. If there was something that interested us, she provided us the resources we needed to get more information and get involved.
Why I Teach at AMS
I value a school that places high priority on community relationships. AMS is dedicated to not only providing to the local community, but involving the local community into our education.
Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy taking my dog on walks, reading, Parks & Recreation, true crime podcasts, and naps.
