Ms. Bethany Evans
Welcome
Welcome! My name is Bethany Evans, and I teach Cambridge World History and U.S. History at Amphitheater High School. I am also the Head Girls Cross Country Coach and the Distance Coach for Track and Field. I have taught at Amphi for three years and I also did my student teaching here. I am proud to be a member of the Amphi family!
Defining Moment in Education
My mom is a retired high school English teacher of 30 years, so I grew up witnessing the impact one teacher can have on a student's life. I was also inspired to join the teaching profession by my high school History teacher, Mr. Robert Helsel. He was a great role model for me and showed me that history is a relevant, exciting, and important subject.
Core Educational Beliefs
My teaching philosophy is that every student can succeed, and every student deserves a quality education. Education opens up possibilities, both in school and beyond. I want to help my students open up that door.
Hobbies and Interests
Running, hiking, reading, music
