Hello!

My name is Esther Quezada and I am a K-5 ELD teacher. This is my first year teaching here at Nash, but my third year teaching. I was born and raised here in Tucson, Arizona and I have lived here my whole life! In my spare time I love reading, hiking, baking and visiting my family in Mexico. I first knew that I wanted to be a teacher when I was in preschool because of my amazing teacher, Mrs. Lowery. She was kind, loving, and she always pushed me when I needed it. She has continued to be a part of my life and I am still in contact with her today. My hope is that I will have an impact on someone's life like she had on mine. I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. Since then I have worked as a first grade teacher for two years, and I will now be joining the Amphi family as an ELD teacher here at Nash. I am excited to be working with all of you this year!

Mi nombre es Esther Quezada y soy maestra de ELD de kinder a quinto grado. Este es mi primer año aquí en Nash, pero es mi tercer año como maestra. Nací y crecí aquí en Tucson, Arizona, y he vivido aquí toda mi vida. En mi tiempo libre me encanta leer, caminar, hornear y visitar a mi familia en México. Yo primero supe que quería ser maestra cuando estaba en preescolar debido a mi increíble maestra, Mrs. Lowery. Era amable, cariñosa, y siempre me empujaba cuando lo necesitaba. Ella ha seguido siendo parte de mi vida y todavía estoy en contacto con ella hoy. Mi esperanza es que tenga un impacto en la vida de alguien como Mrs. Lowery tuvo conmigo. Me gradué de la Universidad de Arizona en 2018 con un Bachillerato en Artes en Educación Infantil. Desde entonces, he trabajado como maestra de primer grado por dos años, y ahora me uniré a la familia Amphi como maestra de ELD aquí en Nash. ¡Estoy emocionada de poder trabajar con todos ustedes este año!
