Welcome!

Welcome to Early Childhood Education! This is my 2nd year in education and also my 2nd year at Amphi High. Originally, I'm from Puyallup, Washington! I graduated from Washington State University in 2020 (Go Cougs!) and I am so excited to continue being a part of the Amphi Family! :)

Aside from teaching, I also coach JV Cheer for Amphi High School. Go Panthers!

Defining Moment in Education

Ever since I was little I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher, it wasn't until I got to high school that I realized I wanted to teach Early Childhood Education. This was my favorite subject in school because I found it so interesting and I loved that it applied to real-life situations and life skills. 

Core Educational Beliefs

My core belief as an educator would be to prepare my students for the real world. This includes how to live indepentently and successfully. Additionally, I believe that as a Career and Technical Education teacher I should teach my students leadership skills and prepare them for the career field they are most interested in.
