Mrs. Brynne Judith Erickson
Hello and welcome to fourth grade! I am passionate about my profession and love engaging children in the excitement of learning. I have taught both third and fourth grade in three different districts, at three different schools, in the six years of my career. My husband is in his family practice residency which has caused us to move many times and I have learned to embrace change and new experiences. Coming to work each day is a joy, I love staying busy and helping my students succeed individually and as a team. I strive to differentiate my instruction and collaborate with parents, teachers and support staff to meet the needs of each child. As a teacher, I take my job very seriously in the fact that I am one whom the children look to for answers, guidance, comfort, encouragement, and help. I hope that we can work together to ensure a successful year for your child.
Core Educational Beliefs
Teaching is my passion. I feel every child is teachable and can be successful in and out of school. My definition of success is progression and doing your personal best. This is exactly what I expect from each of my students. I will strive to provide a safe, happy, and positive environment where each child feels capable to learn and perform to the best of their ability.
Respectful, responsible and resourceful children are empowered children. These three key principles are what contribute to one's success and will be implemented throughout the year. I am confident, hopeful, determined, and eager to teach your child and excite them about learning and prepare them for future success.
A parent’s role is critical to a student’s success. I look forward to working with each family to ensure the success of each student. I sincerely hope that as a TEAM we can make this a very fun and successful fourth grade year.
