A Snapshot about Mrs. Rodrigues

An alumni from the University of Arizona (Go Cats!), I have taught ever since January of 2011; including second, third through fifth grades, and after I earned my Masters in Special Education, I taught seven years in special education. I am so proud of the amazing mission/vision our school upholds. Thank you for this opportunity to work with your family and I look forward to a great year.

I hope this letter finds you and your family healthy and enjoying the excitement of the new school year! I am Mrs. Rodrigues, your child's classroom teacher. I am looking forward to getting to know each of my students and their families!  This school year we will focus on collaboration, independence and academic/social-emotional growth.  Communication should never be an issue and we have many opportunities to communicate. Whether we email, chat via classtag, or checking your child’s agenda daily, please always look for assignment deadlines and upcoming events. Online assignments, curriculum and projects can be accessible using Clever at home throughout the year. In fourth grade, the curriculum will continue to be HMH for reading, with supplemented book novel studies, USA studies weekly for our social studies content, Everyday math with daily math fact fluency quizzes and hands-on science with Mystery Science. Please save your child’s Clever account information at home.
