Hi! My name is Ms. Akeyla White, and I am so pleased to be teaching Fifth Grade at Copper Creek. I began teaching in 2016. I have taught 1^st, 4^th and 5^th grade. This is my first year at Copper Creek and I am already loving it so much!!  

I have 3 children, one in college and two that are attending Copper Creek as well. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary education with a reading endorsement from Northern Arizona University.

I love to read, drink coffee, eat chocolate, and spend time with my family.  

I look forward to a wonderful year of growth and learning for myself and all of my students!  This is going to be a great year!
