Welcome!  I am new to CDO this year and excited to be back in the classroom.  I have been in education for over twenty years as both a teacher and an administrator. In fact, I have worked in multiple areas of education, including traditional, charter, alternative, middle school, high school, online school, and curriculum development.  I am thrilled to be back in a high school English classroom.  In my opinion, life doesn't get much better than spending my days with students talking and learning about books.  

Defining Moment in Education - Education is full of defining moments and all of them put together is what brought me here.  Every moment of every day counts. 

Core Educational Belief - Learning is not just for the classroom.  We are constantly learning new things.  The classroom, however, offers a safe and guided environment for that learning and helps prepare students for adulthood.
