Biography: My name is Addy Kincaid, and I am from Boone, North Carolina (The Blue Ridge Mountains). I lived in Charlotte, NC for 4 years, and found myself moving to the southwest this past June.  

Defining Moment in Education: From a young age I fell in love with reading. Entering into any world, at the turn of a page, inspired me. My sophomore year of high school, I read the memoir The Glass Castle and my love for English class turned into a future passion. 

Core Educational Belief: Anyone can learn, and learning can happen anywhere. 

Prior Experience: This is my 5th year in education, and my first year at CDO. I taught middle school English Language Arts and AVID for four years in Charlotte, and I taught English 10 and English 11 for a semester after college.
