Defining Moment in Education:  I realized literacy was the best thing I could do for students who are having difficulty overcoming adversity in their lives.  When I realized that, I changed careers, returned to school and became a teacher. 


Core Educational Belief: I am committed to providing appreciation, affection and achievement for all my students. I will communicate these things to parents and other staff as well as students. I am committed to improving my ability to differentiate instruction for all students especially the pre-emergent/emergent students. I will focus on their social, emotional and academic growth.
