Mrs. Dee A. Easterling

Welcome to my third grade class. I am Dee A. Easterling and I have been teaching since 2004. This is my fifth year in the Amphitheater School District.  My husband and I have 3 wonderful children. In my free time, I love to explore old and rustic places and spend time with my family.

Defining Moment in Education

Upon completion of high school, I persued a career in Graphic Design. After a short time in that field, I felt that my heart was missing something. Following in the footsteps of my dad, who is a retired high school educator, I then persued my passion for education. Being a classroom teacher is where I belong.

Core Educational Belief

As a classroom teacher we are second to the first teacher of each student. Parents are the first teacher. Together we teach, support, and challenge each child to become productive members of society.

Prior Experience

Before teaching at Harelson, I was at Coronado K-8, and I have taught in the Tucson Unified School District.

Teaching Experience

1- year in second grade

5.5- years in third grade

10- years in fourth grade
