A Little About Mr. Hayes

I'm already entering my 16th year here at Coronado.  For those of you who haven't already had children in my class here is a little info about myself. I have an amazing wife who is an administrator in Amphi district and two children who go to Amphi schools.

When I'm not at school my hobbies include hiking, biking, and photography, motorcycling and offroading.

I knew I wanted to be a teacher in 9th grade when my biology teachers really pushed me to be the best student I could be and instilled the love of science I still have today.

Prior to Coronado I taught Global Science, Earth Science, and MESA at Flowing Wells High School.  I was also lucky enough to do agricultural research at the University of Arizona with Dr. Mark Riley.

I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Science Education (concentration in Biology).
