Welcome to Ms. Robles’ second grade class!  I am Erin Robles and I have been teaching since 2002- all here at Coronado.  I taught second grade for nine years, first grade for five years and have been back in second grade for six years now.   I have an amazing daughter and a son who both attend Coronado as well.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, vacationing, cheering on my Arizona Wildcat teams and being with my family. 

Defining Moment in Education

I come from a family of teachers.  As I was growing up, I always wanted to be either a nurse or a teacher.  Honestly, I started at the University of Arizona taking pre-nursing classes.  After a year or so, I realized that teaching was what I really wanted to do.   Go CATS!

Core Educational Belief

I believe in challenging all students to help them learn and grow in a safe and happy environment. 

Prior Experience

Before my teaching career began, I spent many hours volunteering in classrooms in the Amphitheater District.  I student taught in the Amphi district before graduating.  I spent some time substitute teaching in the Amphi district at all grade levels. 

Professional Accomplishments

I have served on many committees at the district and school level.  I attended the AHAA (Arizona High Achievement for All) training for three years.  I have been a mentor teacher for a student teacher.   I have also served as a judge at the Odyssey of the Mind competition.
