  • Background:

I have coached in an organized school platform since 2015. When I taught in Craig, Colorado from 2015-2018. I received opportunities at the middle school in basketball, alongside assistant coaching jobs at the high school in basketball and baseball. During the 2018-19 school year, I coached the overflow boys basketball team at Amphi Middle School and assisted the softball team at the high school. During the 2019-20 school year, I received my first head coaching job at the high school level for the Amphi High School girls basketball team.

Through coaching middle school, I won serveral district championships and always had a winning record. This past season, I was met with challenges and adversity that helped me develop as both a coach and person.  Even through we didn't reach our goal of making it to state, the team transformed from a 3 win season to a 12 win season. This was all done with no seniors on the squad. I know these young ladies will take the league by storm for the next couple of years, and I'm so proud and overjoyed to be along for the ride!

  • What I Love about Coaching...

the ability to make an impact on young atheltes. Preparing student-athletes for the next level, athletic or academic, is the main reason I got into teaching profession. I also have an undeniable passion for the game that will never go away! Being a positive mentor for students is a dream that I would love to carry out through Amphi High School for the rest of my career. Go Panthers!
