Ironwood Ridge Start of School Information and Learning Schedule
In order to help our students and parents/guardians prepare for the start of school on Monday, August 10th, we wanted to provide you with information on the learning platforms, class times and other details that will help students prepare for the new school year.
As more information becomes available, we will continue to post information to this page.
We have begun notifying students if we will be able to provide a Chromebook for the start of the school year.
If we are not able to provide a Chromebook at this time, we will continue to keep a log when we receive additional technology resources.
Student Schedule and Google Classrooms:
Starting Thursday afternoon, students will receive invitations to join their teacher’s Google Classroom. To access the invitations, students must sign into their Amphi Student Gmail account.
Students who have forgotten their password can have their Gmail password using their Tyler Student Portal and selecting “Forgot Password.”
If your student has not set up their Amphi Gmail account, their username is their full student Gmail address (see below for examples). Their default password is their first name. (The password is case sensitive, so first letter of their name is capitalized.)
- Username: Student_ID_Number@student.amphi.com (Ex. firstname.lastname@example.org )
- Password: Norman
Teachers will be entering attendance on a daily basis; thus, if your student will be absent for a period, part of the day or the entire day, please call Ironwood Ridge’s Attendance Office (696-3908) to document the absence(s).
If your student will be late to join a class, please email the teacher.
Our annual Calendar-at-a-Glance has been posted to Ironwood Ridge’s website under the “Parent & Students” link. For your convenience, we have also included the document in this email.
SY2020-21 IRHS Annual Calendar
In case you missed it, we are including the daily learning schedule teachers will use to conduct instruction and engagement during the remote learning by necessity model.
- Please note: Instruction will end early on Wednesday, August 12th and Wednesday, August 26th. These dates are designated as “Professional Development.” During professional development, teachers will be engaged in collaboration with department colleagues on curriculum, instructional strategies and technology that can support student learning.
