Family Matters Workshop: Register today!

Free parenting workshop: Family Matters The Amphitheater Public Schools Equal Opportunity Office is proud to offer Family Matters, a free parenting workshop series that will consist of monthly sessions starting in January. Scheduled topics include cyber safety, drug trends, strengthening the family, and more.

The first session on Jan. 22 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and focuses on what happens when our children make poor choices that involve the law. It will be held at the District offices at 701 W. Wetmore Road.

This session is recommended for all parents and guardians--whether the children they are raising have already made a mistake or not. The fact is, good kids make poor decisions, and we want to be prepared in case we face an issue.

The session will be led by Kate Spaulding, Teen Court Program Coordinator. She will provide an overview of what happens when our children get in trouble and how we can help them.
