21st CCLC ACHIEVE Fiscal Year 2019 Program Results

Our 21st CCLC ACHIEVE program goals are to assist students that are struggling academically, providing them with additional academic assistance, tools and the extra attention they deserve before and after school, to succeed.  We focus on Math and Literacy and also provide enrichment programs for our students, allowing them to explore academically through non-traditional teaching methods which provide a different learning perspective for our students. We also focus on providing the skills necessary to understand how homework completion, classroom participation and positive classroom behavior will provide them with a path to academic success.  Our summer programs help keep our students academically focused after the regular school year has ended.  We engage our families through Family Engagement events and aim to provide tools, assistance and resources that will help families encourage their students’ academic success at home.

Amphi High School:

51% of all 9th thru 12th grade students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed an increase in their ELA grades from fall (Qtr. 1) to the spring (Qtr. 4).

47% of all 9th thru 12th grade students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed an increase in their math grades from fall (Qtr. 1) to spring (Qtr. 4).

95% of classroom teachers reported that students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more demonstrated improvement in one or more classroom behaviors; homework completion, class participation, classroom behavior, as measured by the teacher survey at the end of the school year.

76% of all students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed an increase in attendance during their regular school day from the previous to the current school year.

92% of parent survey responses indicated that parents/guardians of regular 21st CCLC attendees have gained skills to help their student(s) make academic progress in reading/math.

Amphi Middle School:

46% of all students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed one year’s growth on the MAP test in Reading from fall to spring.

46% of all students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed one year’s growth on the MAP test in Math from fall to spring.

69% of classroom teachers reported that students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more demonstrated improvement in one or more classroom behaviors; homework completion, class participation, classroom behavior, as measured by the teacher survey at the end of the school year.

60% of all students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed an increase in attendance during their regular school day from the previous school year.

98% of parent survey responses indicated that parents/guardians of regular 21st CCLC attendees gained skills to help their student(s) make academic progress in reading/math.

Nash Elementary School:

54% of 2nd – 5th grade students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed one year’s growth on the MAP test in Reading from fall to spring.

69% of 2nd – 5th grade students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed one year’s growth on the MAP test in Math from fall to spring.

41% of K – 1st grade regular attendees achieved benchmark on the DIBELS test in Reading by the end of the school year.

32% of all continuously enrolled students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed an increase in attendance during their regular school day from the previous to the current school year.

96% of classroom teachers reported that students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more demonstrated improvement in one or more classroom behaviors; homework completion, class participation, classroom behavior, as measured by the teacher survey at the end of the school year.

Keeling Elementary School:

51% of all 2nd – 5th grade students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed one year’s growth on the MAP test in Reading from fall to spring.

45% of all 2nd – 5th grade students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed one year’s growth on the MAP test in Math from fall to spring.

17% of K – 1st grade regular attendees achieved benchmark on the DIBELS test in Reading by the end of the school year.

39% of all continuously enrolled students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed an increase in attendance during their regular school day from the previous to the current school year.

96% of classroom teachers reported that students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more demonstrated improvement in one or more classroom behaviors; homework completion, class participation, classroom behavior, as measured by the teacher survey at the end of the school year.

97% of parent survey responses indicated that parents/guardians of regular 21st CCLC attendees have gained skills to help their student(s) make academic progress in reading and/or math as measured by the Family Engagement Survey.

Donaldson Elementary School:

75% of all 2nd – 5th grade students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed one year’s growth on the MAP test in Reading and/or Math from fall to spring.

There were no KG or 1st grade students that attended the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more.

97% of classroom teachers reported that students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more demonstrated improvement in one or more classroom behaviors; homework completion, class participation, classroom behavior, as measured by the teacher survey at the end of the school year.

35% of students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed an increase in attendance during their regular school day from the previous school year.

96% of parent/guardians of regular 21st CCLC attendees have gained skills to help their student(s) make academic progress in reading/math.

Mesa Verde Elementary School:

65% of all 2nd – 5th grade students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed one year’s growth on the MAP test in Reading from fall to spring.

70% of all 2nd – 5th grade students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed one year’s growth on the MAP test in Math from fall to spring.

63% of K – 1st grade regular attendees achieved benchmark on the DIBELS test in Reading by the end of the school year.

47% of all continuously enrolled students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more showed an increase in attendance during their regular school day from the previous school year.

99% of classroom teachers reported that students attending the 21st CCLC program for 30 days or more demonstrated improvement in one or more classroom behaviors; homework completion, class participation, classroom behavior, as measured by the teacher survey at the end of the school year.
