CURRICULUM
Our vision of curriculum is to maintain an articulated, relevant, and dynamic curriculum that is challenging to all students, provides opportunities for enrichment and support, yet clearly supports achievement of core concepts and essential learnings.
INSTRUCTION
Our vision of instruction is that every teacher has at his/her disposal, excellent and well-proven strategies, techniques, and methodologies that can be applied to enhance learning, grounded by conditional knowledge of when to use those strategies, and focused by a self-motivated desire to continually improve their practice.
ASSESSMENT
Our vision of assessment is one in which each student’s progress is frequently monitored. The data is used for effective instructional planning and assists in supporting the development of the potential of each and every student.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Our vision of staff development is one in which all members of our school community are engaged, active learners, seeking new knowledge, skills and attitudes in service of our greatest calling – the increased achievement and learning of our young people.
TECHNOLOGY
Our vision for technology is to increase the confidence, competence, and productivity of students and staff within rapidly changing environments by providing resources for making technology an integral part of learning and the work place.
