The following links represent sites that have lots of materials that can be used by teachers as they are trying to find technology resources to help their students prepare for the MAP and AIMS test. These links are to the main web page of the site and not to specific lessons.

MarcoPolo--Internet Content for the Classroom - MarcoPolo is a foundation that provides links to eight content based sites that are tied to national standards that provide lessons and activities for all grade levels.

ReadWriteThink - One of the MarcoPolo partner sites. This site concentrates on math. There are lessons, interactives, and web resources based on national math standards.

NCTM Illuminations - One of the MarcoPolo partner sites. This site concentrates on reading skills. There are lessons for learning language, learning about language and learning through language.

MarcoPolo Lessons Aligned to Arizona State Standards - This site provides a search engine of the MarcoPolo lessons based on the Arizona state standards. It is a great starting place as you begin to look for lesson that match the standards

Reading A to Z - Amphitheater District has a subscription to this program you can download books and materials to teach guided reading, phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency, and comprehension. Graphics and Printing will print multiple copies of the books.

WebQuests - WebQuests are interactive, cooperative, small group activities that involve students in higher level thinking.

Best Practices in Technology Integration - This site host a database of the best lessons that Michigan teachers created to integrate technology into a variety of content areas.

ELC Study Zone - This site has grammar and reading exercises for a variety of levels.

Easy Vocabulary - This site has a variety of vocabulary exercises.

Grammar Links - This site has a variety of grammar links.

Mrs. Carlton's Algebra I Homepage - Mrs. Carlton, a middle school teacher in California, has this amazing site to help her students with the concepts taught in her Algebra 1 class. Be sure to look under "Tutorials". Here you can download 5-8 minute videos with instruction of some of the algebra skills.

AAA Math - Students enter their grade level and subject then go through a tutorial and finally play a game with practice problems.

MathCats - A variety of math activities.

A+ Math - This site was designed to help students with math interactively.

Sadlier Oxford Phonics Activites K-6 - Phonic activites by grade level. Has analogies, synonyms etc.

Reading Comprehension by abcteach - This particular abcteach link will take you to Reading Comprehension worksheets, ideas, etc. for grades 4-6.

Read On Audio stories - Provides a list of audio stories organized by grade level.

Story Line - Actors from the screen actors guild read childrens books. The site provides a lesson plan with activities and information about the author and the reader.

PBS TeacherSource Arts and Literature - Teachers can select a grade level and topic and find lesson plans and activities in language arts and reading.

PBS TeacherSource Math - Teachers can select a grade level and topic and find lesson plans and activities for math.

The Literacy Web - The site contains a wealth of information on literacy.

Interactive Mathematics - The site contains math manipulatives for all grade levels.

Bridging the Digital Divide - The site contains lessons for various subject areas incorporating technology.
