- Schedules for displaying daily schedule and events in the classroom
- Definitions for words and parts of speech using on-line dictionaries
- Critiquing student work for instructing students how to peer edit and displaying what the teacher is looking for in specific assignments
- United Streaming clips and videos
- Timer for tests and lessons throughout the day
- Jeopardy game to accompany units of study

- Instruction prior to computer work time
- Jan Horetski shares, "I am really excited. I went to a conference yesterday and the presenter had some circle activities. I created one on Print Shop using numbers. So- it's a circle of numbers that I will bring up on the Smart Board. I will hand write a number in the center of the circle along with a + x - etc. sign and the students can complete the problems around the circle. When they are done and the answers are checked they just tap the board and start with a new center number. It is really neat. I can differentiate by changing the center procedure from addition to multiplication as students rotate through this activity.
