Returning Student Enrollment Guide

Thank you for choosing Amphitheater schools. We’re honored to be part of your child’s educational journey and are committed to creating a welcoming, engaging environment where every student can thrive. Please click below for the registration and enrollment information that matches your situation.

Note: If you do not have a student enrolled in an Amphi school and wish to enroll them, please visit this link for brand new families.

  • The registration process for each school year for students already attending an Amphi school takes place in July and is completed through the Parent Portal

    Key points:

    • Each year, your child will automatically be moved to their next grade (and/or school if they are moving up).
    • You will only need to complete what we call the "Annual Update" to verify your student’s registration information. Families will typically receive notification that it's time to review their child's information and make any updates in July.
    • You will complete the update process through the Parent Portal.
    • If your child is open-enrolled and will be changing schools within your feeder pattern, you do not need to apply for open enrollment at the new school. If you would like to open-enroll a child outside of their feeder pattern, you will need to complete an open-enrollment application.

    Examples:

    • If your child is currently an open-enrolled eighth-grader at Wilson K-8 and they will attend Ironwood Ridge next year, you do not have to apply at Ironwood Ridge, even if you are outside the boundary.
    • If your child is currently an open-enrolled eighth-grader at Wilson K-8 and they wish to attend CDO next year, you do need to complete the open enrollment process to apply for CDO.
  • Please fill out the Open Enrollment application that applies:

  • If you have a student enrolled in an Amphi school and would like to enroll an additional student, you will complete that process in the Parent Portal by adding the new student to your household in the portal. (When you are ready to begin the process, please find information about documents you may need by clicking here.)

    Exceptions for adding new students:

    Examples:

    • You have a second-grader attending an Amphitheater elementary school and need to enroll your kindergarten student. Please visit the Parent Portal to enroll the kindergarten student.
    • You have an eighth-grader in an Amphi school and a fourth-grader in a private school. You would like to move the fourth grader to in an Amphi school. Please visit the Parent Portal to enroll the kindergarten student.
    • If you have a child who is open-enrolled in an Amphi school and would like to open-enroll another child in an Amphi school, please complete the application for the appropriate year linked above.
    • If you would like your child to attend Innovation Academy, please follow the links above.
