Welcome to Ms. Amy's Class

I've been a Teacher in the Amphi school district for over 17 years now. My entire teaching career has been at Rillito Center.  Once you found your home it is difficult to leave.  I recievied my degree from Northern Arizonia University in Elementary Education and Special Education with an emphasis in Severe and Profound.  I knew i wanted to teacher at Rillito since I volunteer there when I was in 6th grade.   I have tried to stay active in the district.  I voluteer at the Special Olympics bowling.  I coached Soccer, Track and Softball at the Amphi. middle School and I worked a few years in the after school program at the Middle school.

My main focus in my classroom is to teach to my students enjoyments.  When a student learnes through fun they remember so much more.
