Why I am committed to Mesa Verde
I am committed to Mesa Verde because I love helping children succeed. I am a product of Amphitheater. I attended elementary, middle, and high school in this district. Having the opportunity to teach in the district in which I grew up, is an honor.

Defining Moment in my Education
Having two younger sisters, I always played "teacher" at home. As I grew up, I volunteered with kids in many areas. In high school, I was given a project to plan my future career and how I'd attain it. At that moment, I realized that I couldn't see myself doing anything else but teaching. And, here I am today!

Core Educational Beliefs
I believe that with high expectations, respect, and a positive and safe classroom environment, all students can succeed, meet, and exceed the standards.

Prior Experience 
I have been teaching in Amphitheater since 2015. I am so privileged to be teaching at Mesa Verde! Prior to 2015, I taught 5 years in the Sunnyside Unified School District.

Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, crafting, and UA basketball!
