English Language Arts Curriculum

It is the goal of the Amphitheater School District’s ELA Department to provide the enrichment and support necessary to build proficiency in reading, writing, listening and speaking for all of our students.
Effective communication for the 21st century requires competency in language arts. That is why Amphitheater students begin with the essential skills of reading and writing. Language arts curriculum is focused on critical thinking so students can identify, evaluate and solve problems as they learn and grow.
