Hello, and welcome to our class! I'm Ryan Mayer (Mr. Mayer to the students), one of Keeling's 3rd/4th/5th grade ELD Combo teachers. I am a proud graduate of Arizona State University (and still an OK guy!) and have been teaching for three years.

I chose to teach because the time kids spend in school affects what they choose to do with the rest of their lives. If we want to improve the world around us, we must take the responsibilty to start with our children. 

My primary goal for every student is provide them with instruction that respects them, their time, and their abilities. I strongly believe that education in our society requires the use of technology and modern research in order to reach as many different kids as possible and give them the tools they need to succeed confidently. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together!
