Greetings Keeling Parents and Students! I am very excited to teach students in the Emotional Disability-Private (EDP) special education program. I look forward to seeing your child become the best they can be while here at Keeling. Your child will learn how to manage their emotions and make positive choices in order to reach their future goals.

Defining Moment in my Education

Teaching students with special needs is exactly where I want to be in my career. I love to see my students feel happy about school and make friendships in class. They learn to love their differences and see the value in guiding their own education. I want to be there to inspire my students as I remember mine inspiring me.

Why I Teach at Keeling

I teach at Keeling because the students and families are so amazing. I believe that the kids at Keeling deserve the best education possible and I am here to help make that happen.

Prior Experience

I have taught Special Education for students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs at Keeling since 2001. Prior to Keeling, I taught at Amphitheater High school. I have also taught in Colorado and on the Tohono O’odham reservation.

Professional Accomplishments

I have been thankful to have been named Walmart’s Teacher of the Year in 2007 and was a Rodel Foundation Semi-Finalist in 2011.
