Welcome

Welcome to my  web page.  I am very excited to be a part of the Mesa Verde community.  I am a Tucson native and a product of the Amphitheater School District.  After graduating from Canyon Del Oro, I went on to earn my degree from the University of Arizona.  I am very fortunate to be able to give back to the community I grew up in and love so dearly.  Thank you for allowing me to contribute to your child’s success!

Defining Moment in Education

My defining moment in education happened at Copper Creekl!  My fourth grade teacher was Mr. Moser; he made quite an impression on me.  I remember really enjoying my fourth grade year, as Mr. Moser had a way of making learning more of an adventure than a forced task.

Core Educational Belief

I believe that every child can make a year’s growth in a year’s time.  I also believe that they are all so incredibly unique and that each of them has something wonderful to offer their class community.  It is my mission to make sure that each student that enters my class feels safe, respected, cared for, and valued. 

Prior Experience

I began my career in the Marana Unified School District where I taught 4^th and 5^th grades for seven years.  I also have three years of substituting experience.
